Scotland to Newcastle Ferry

We had to time our visit to Holy Island with the low tide as the Lindisfarne causeway is impassable otherwise - see sign. We had to wait in a queue of cars until the water dropped sufficiently. This tidal island is cut off twice-daily from the rest of the world by the fast-moving tides.
